Track & Field

The Bears have had great success on and off the playing field; from State and college national champions, Olympians, to doctors, teachers and everything in between.  We pride ourselves on the philosophy of everyone counts and everyone competes, we are a family. Our team numbers average over 180 athletes per year, which is one of the largest programs in the area.  The Bears have had over 150 athletes go on to compete at the four year college level in track and field.  For more information please visit Buchanan Track

2026 Track and Field Recap

Both the boys and girls Track and Field teams placed 1^st in TRAC and 1^st in Division 1 Central Section Championships! The girls team placed 1^st in CIF Masters Championship and the boys placed 2^nd by 1 point. The team had 20 athletes qualify for the CA State Track and Field Meet. Congrats to Karsyn Van Grouw who was the State Champion in the boys Discus!
