2025 XC Season Recap

2025 Girls TRAC League Champions, CIF Central Section Champions and D1 CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONS!

Congrats to Molly Sundgren who placed 5^th in the State Meet and Brooklyn Buckley who placed 8^th. The girls were invited to compete at Nike XC Nationals where they placed 17^th as a team.

2025 Boys Take 2nd at TRAC and 3^rd at CIF Central Section Championships! Congratulations to Jansen Geyer who was our top placer at the State Championships in 24^th place!

Buchanan High School opened its doors during the Fall of 1991.  Since then, the school and the area around Buchanan High School has grown considerably. The Cross Country Program at Buchanan has matured along with the school.  In its infant stage, the program had only 2 girls and 13 boys (1991).  Since then, the program has supported a number of athletes ranging from 60 to 80 members.  The success of the program is attributed to hard work and determination fostered within the program.  The true measurement of success in our program is not the number of victories or failures, but what our athletes become 5 years after they graduate from high school.  Below are some of the accomplishments by the athletes and the coaches!
