Welcome to Buchanan Girls Badminton, one of the most successful programs in the CIF Central Section. Since our founding in 2006, we have built a tradition of excellence, earning seven Central Valley Championships (2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018), three runner-up finishes (2011, 2012, 2017). We are proud of what this program has accomplished and look forward to continued success for years to come.

Our coaching staff is made up of extremely active and competitive badminton players who bring real playing experience to every practice and match. We are committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes through a focus on fundamentals, court strategy, footwork, conditioning, and one-on-one skill development. Our goal is not only to build strong badminton players, but to also teach our athletes the value of hard work, discipline, and competing with integrity.

Beyond competition, we take pride in building a team culture where athletes challenge one another, form lasting friendships, and grow as individuals both on and off the court. Whether you are a seasoned player or picking up a racket for the first time, Buchanan Badminton is a place where you belong.

We compete during the spring season as part of the TRAC league within the CIF Central Section, which consists of three leagues: CMAC, NYL, and TRAC. Each match features six singles and six doubles contests and typically lasts two to three hours.
