General

The Winter Formal Dance is this Saturday from 7pm-10pm! The Theme is The Great Gala: A Night of Glitz and Glamour! Tickets are on sale now for $40 in the DANCE ROOM at lunch and after school. You must have your digital ID to purchase your ticket. Do you need a guest pass for non-BHS students? Guest Passes are available in Student Services.

This March, Bear Stage presents Jane Austen’s Emma, directed by alumni Mackenzie Fox. Auditions are open to everyone! Try-outs are Tuesday and Wednesday after school in the Drama Room. Callbacks will be Friday. See Mrs. Paxton Jeffries in Room 403 for more info.

Attention current sophomores and juniors, if you are interested in attending the Center for Advanced Research and Technology, otherwise known as CART, next school year and would like to go on a tour to get more information and to see the campus, please fill out the required paperwork that is available on the Counseling Center Google Classroom or it can be picked up and returned to the Counseling Center. We will go by bus on Wednesday, February 4th. There is limited room so sign up soon!

Applications for the 2026 district-wide Latino Student Success Conference on March 9th are now open. All students are welcome to attend - lunch and entertainment will be provided. Come see Mrs. Hulbert in the counseling center for an application or see Miss Salazar or Mr. Felix if you have questions. Space is limited so sign up soon!

Track & Field is starting Monday at 3:30 at the stadium. All athletes must have an athletic eligibility packet completed prior to practice. For more information stop by the athletic office. Everyone makes the team. Everyone Competes!

The African American Student Success Conference will be Friday, February 20th at Clovis North. This event will provide sessions led by leaders who are eager to share their knowledge and wisdom, offering expertise and experience to educate, guide and motivate students as they prepare for their futures. Applications are in the Counseling Center. The due date is Thursday. All BHS students are welcome to attend.

Attention Bears! Yearbooks are now $120. The last day to buy a 2026 yearbook is Friday so buy your yearbook today. Ordering information is available via the yearbook page on the BHS website.

SENIORS: If you are on track to qualify for CSF Lifetime Membership with Fall 2025 grades AND WISH TO ATTEND the CSF Ceremony in March, please fill out the Ceremony Google Form in the CSF Google Classroom or via the school webpage. The form is due no later than Friday.

ALL BHS STUDENTS: For Fall 2025 membership: the applications open till Friday and available via your English teacher or the CSF webpage. Please contact Mrs. Constable asap with any CSF questions
