  • Winter Formal ticket sales at lunch and after school in the Dance Room! We would love for you to come to A Night for Kings & Queens on Saturday in the West Gym from 7-10pm. 

 

  • If you did not attend the Elections meeting on Monday, you can get information or pick up an Elections Packet in the Activities Office. 

 

  • Applications for Leadership for the 25-26 school year are available now! If you are interested in serving your school, organizing events like Homecoming, rallies and more, then pick up an application in the Activities Office today! Deadline to apply is February 14th @ 1:30.

 

  • Sophs & Juniors! Yearbook applications are now available! Scan the QR on our flyer in your English classroom or access via the Yearbook page on the BHS website. Questions? Come see Mrs. Hanson in 161.

 

  • All CSF Fall 2024 applicants: Your applications are being processed.  Please check the Total CSF Semester Membership doc on the BHS CSF webpage starting the week of Feb. 10.  See Mrs. Constable in room 151 with questions.

  • Seniors… there are LOTS of scholarships available. Please go to the BHS Website, hover over Counseling, then click on Scholarships. There are lists of local and nation-wide scholarships, as well as local school scholarships, and scholarship search engines. Check the Scholarship Bulletin FREQUENTLY for lots of free money opportunities!

  • The Kiwanis Club of Clovis, All-Around Student Scholarship is offering a $3,000 scholarship to the “most outstanding all-around student” of their graduating class, as well as a $2,000 runner-up scholarship. To apply, go to www.cloviskiwanis.com & click on 2025 Application. Complete the fillable PDF application. Handwritten applications will not be accepted. Submit completed application to the Buchanan Counseling Center by Wednesday, February 5th at 4:00 pm. 

 

  • The Counseling Center would like to remind you to make sure you complete and submit your FAFSA. All Seniors must apply before the March 2, 2025 deadline.  

 

  • The district-wide Latino Student Success Conference will be held on March 3rd at Clovis North. All students are welcome to attend. The conference will provide inspiration for students to pursue goals beyond high school.  Students will meet people who persevered and became successful, visit with college representatives and other post-graduate options.  Enjoy lunch and entertainment.  Come to the counseling center for an application and direct all questions to Miss Salazar or Mr. Felix!  Deadline is Tuesday February 6th, space is limited!! 

 

  • Are you interested in learning more about CTE/ROP Programs like Digital Photo, Medicine, Engineering, Culinary Arts, Education, Veterinary Science, Fire Fighting, etc.?  If so, sign up for the CTE Field Trip in the Counseling Center.  This is open to current 9-11th graders and turning in your permission slip secures your spot.  Seats are limited.

Friday: Boys Varsity Basketball vs Central @ 7:00, come celebrate Senior Night!

 

Tryout coming up!! 

All athletes must have completed the Athletic eligibility forms prior to coming out.

BHS Badminton Tryouts will be held today from 5:30 to 9:30 PM in the West Gym. All students interested in joining the badminton team, including returning players, must attend. If you are unable to make it but want to play, please email Coach Andrew Orloski at AndrewOrloski@cusd.com . We look forward to seeing you there!

Track and Field starts Monday at 3:30 in the stadium. For more information see Mr. Weaver in PE or stop by the athletic office. Remember track has something for everyone and Everyone makes the team!
