Today is October 14th and these are your Daily Announcements!

General 

• Our next BEAR Hour is Monday. Sign up using Student Connect before tomorrow at 3:30pm.

• Bear Stage presents RUMORS, directed by senior Eliza Kuzmic. The play runs today through Saturday in the Buchanan Drama Room. Doors open @6:30, Curtain is at 7:00. Tickets are $10 at the door.

• Memory pages in the 2027 Yearbook are on sale now! Sales information is posted on campus and on the Yearbook page via the BHS website. The deadline to purchase a memory page is Dec. 17th. Any questions, stop by Room 161.

• Attention Bears! 2027 yearbooks are on sale now! The price is $110 and can be purchased at www.yearbookordercenter.com using the school code 14494. Any questions, stop by Room 161.

• Hey Bears! Join us on the Rooter Bus to Central East this Friday to support our Bears as they face the Bengals. Tickets are $10 and includes transportation to and from the game, your ticket in and pizza upon arrival to the stadium. Tickets and permission slips are available on Parent Square and are due by tomorrow at 3pm.

• Attention Seniors! The Senior of Distinction application for the 2027 Yearbook is now available on the Yearbook page via the BHS website. To qualify as a senior of distinction, you must have a CUMULATIVE WEIGHTED GPA of 3.95 or higher and a minimum of twenty (20) application points. Points are accumulated from all four years of high school. Applications are due by Friday at 3:18 p.m.

• Our district-wide Asian Student Success Conference will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd at Clovis East High School. Students will have the opportunity to meet people who persevered and became successful as well as visit with guest speakers, learn about scholarships and financial aid, and participate in an interactive activity.  Also, enjoy a complimentary lunch and entertainment.  Come to the Counseling Center for an application and direct all questions to counselor,  Mrs. Brandon.  The deadline to apply is Monday.

  • Next week- Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School, GCU, San Francisco State University, United States Air Force, United States Coast Guard
• Any students interested in learning about or enlisting in the Military, go see Ms. Rowland in the career and counseling center.
