Good morning, Buchanan!!   

Today is September 4th and these are your Daily Announcements!

 

General

  • A Parking Permit is required by all students to park on campus. All applications for Parking Permits are submitted through Parent Connect. Once completed on Parent Connect, pick up and pay for your Parking Permit at the attendance window before school, at lunch or after school. The cost of the Parking Permit is $10.00.

 

  • Any girls who are still interested in signing up for soccer tryouts, please go to Mr. Alvord’s room 108 any time before school, after school, or at lunch and sign up on the sheet on the door. An informational sheet can also be found there.

 

  • Attention all sophomores, juniors, and seniors only: the CSF application for Spring 2026, is now open through September 30th. Please visit the BHS CSF webpage or ask your English teacher for access to this application.  See Mrs. Constable in room 151 with questions.

 

  • Are you interested in creating a club on campus? Stop by the Activities Office to pick up a club petition any time before school, after school or at lunch to be able to join us at Club Rush on Sep. 10th. Petitions are due to the Activities Office by today at 1:30pm.

 

  • Tonight is Military Night at the Football Game vs Manteca! Wear black or camo and join us in the student section. Purchase your student tickets for $6 on gofan.co or $5 at the gate.  Admission is free with your Activities Pass! See you there Bears.

 

Counseling and Career Center

  • Please sign up in the Career and Counseling Center today to see college or military Reps coming next week!
    • Tuesday: Arizona State, Santa Clara University and University of the Pacific
    • Wednesday: USD, Oregon State, UC Santa Barbara and Cal Lutheran
    • Thursday: St. Mary’s College, Point Loma and Biola University
  • Any students interested in learning about or enlisting in the Military, go see Ms. Rowland in the career and counseling center.

 

Home Athletics this week:

  • Football vs Manteca today @7pm. This is Military Night!
