General

• This week, February 2–6, we are celebrating National School Counseling Week 2026. This year’s theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” recognizes the important role school counselors play in supporting students’ academic success, well-being, and future planning. Please join us in celebrating by checking out our Instagram and Google Classroom for special posts and more information this week!

• Track & Field starts today at 3:30 at the stadium. All athletes must have an athletic eligibility packet completed prior to practice. For more information stop by the athletic office. Everyone makes the team. Everyone Competes!

• Tryouts for Frosh softball will begin tomorrow at 3:30 on Field 5 at the softball complex.  You must have your paperwork turned in and be cleared to try out.  Please see Coach Hall in Student Services if you have any questions.

• The Art Gallery is open today and tomorrow during lunch. Come see the talented artwork of beginning through advanced art students along with the talented Ceramics and 3D Sculpture and Design students.

• Want to get involved and learn more about the EECU CTE Pathway in Business & Finance?  Learn more on February 12th at lunch in the amphitheater. This is a GREAT time to ask questions, learn and earn some Prizes! Any questions, please contact Ms. Hulbert in the Counseling Center.  See you there!

• Attention Sophomores & Juniors! Applications are available for the 2027 yearbook staff. You can access the application via the Yearbook page on the BHS website. The yearbook class meets your junior/senior English requirement and PE is waived if you take the course. Applications are due Feb 20th. If you have any questions, please come by Room 161.

• Seniors, please make sure to check your name in Student Connect for the correct spelling for your diploma. If you have a middle name, it will be completely spelled out. Student Connect only shows an initial for your middle name.  If you do not want your middle name at all on your diploma, please email the registrar, Mrs Leach TODAY.

• Applications for Leadership for the 26-27 school year are available now! Are you interested in serving your school, organizing events like Homecoming, rallies and more, then pick up an application in the Activities Office today! The deadline to apply is Friday @ 1:30pm.
