We are excited to welcome students to the 2023-24 school year. Safety is always a top priority of ours. Last year, an increased number of students parked off-site in the surrounding neighborhoods. This caused a concern as students walked across streets (usually Teague) – often during unsupervised times (free periods, early off-campus dismissals (CART/ROP/CTE & passes). To help with increased safety measures, we are encouraging all students to park on-campus in our BHS lots. We have increased parking spots in the Teague Avenue lots (facing Teague/gray curb), and plenty of parking in the Minnewawa lots.
To improve traffic flow on Teague and in the Teague lot, we are using Teague Avenue as a loading zone (student drop-off/pick-up) to alleviate the need for cars to enter/exit the Teague lot.
To help with safety and accounting of all students, Senior drivers with off-campus lunch passes must exit through the parking lots-not walking across streets.
