Today is October 2nd and these are your Daily Announcements!

General

  • Attention Seniors! Your Class of 2026 senior shirt is now available for purchase online through November 1st! You can find the Revtrak link to order on the BHS website, and you will be contacted when your shirt is ready to be picked up!

 

  • The Homecoming Dance is Saturday October 11th from 7pm-10pm! The Theme is Step Into Aruba! Tickets are available now for $30 per person in the Activities Office before school, at lunch and after school only. PLEASE do not come during Buchanan scheduled class time. You must have your digital ID to purchase your ticket. Do you need a guest pass for non-BHS students? Guest Passes are available now in Student Services.

 

  • SENIORS: Last chance yearbook photos are Monday and Tuesday in the dance room. Check the BHS Website homepage link that says” LAST CHANCE SENIOR YEARBOOK PHOTOS” to sign up (if you did not take your photo already.) THERE WILL BE NO MORE OPPORTUNITIES AFTER OCTOBER 7TH!

 

  • Picture retakes are Monday in the MPR until 3:30pm. If you haven’t taken your picture this year, this is your last chance. If you are only on campus part of the day, please stop by the MPR before 3:30.

 

  • Monday is our Homecoming Rally! This year’s Homecoming Theme is: Kickin’ It with the Bears! Dress up day for Monday is:
    • Seniors: Sneakin’ Through the Years (or the Color Black)
    • Juniors: Snug in Our Uggs (or the Color White)
    • Sophomores: Laced Up & Locked In (or the Color Red)
    • Freshmen: Lei’d Back in Sandals (or the Color Blue)

 

  • Attention Seniors! 2026 Senior Best voting has begun! Vote for your favorites today. The deadline to vote is Oct. 10th. The ballot is available on the Yearbook page via the BHS website. Any questions? Stop by Room 161. 

 

  • Attention Seniors! 2026 Senior of Distinction applications are out! If you have a 3.95 cumulative GPA or higher and get 20 points on the application, you qualify for this yearbook award. The deadline to apply is Oct 17th. You can access the application on the Yearbook page via the BHS website. Any questions? Come by Room 161.
