Welcome to another great season of Buchanan Bears basketball.  We are excited about the current season, and the opportunity to continue the great tradition of Buchanan basketball.  Our boys have worked hard throughout the past year, and they are ready to show our fans, alumni, and Bear Nation what they are made of.

The current varsity team is a program on the rise. We have a good mix of experienced seniors and young, eager underclassmen, all of whom have Varsity playing experience. This is a group that is ready to make “the jump” and compete for a league championship and make a run at a section title. We still have a long way to go, but with a high level of commitment and effort, we’ll continue to improve and make noise in the TRAC. I’ve been blessed with the best coaching staff in the Valley, and there’s no doubt our players will benefit greatly from their expertise and years of experience at the high school, college, and professional levels.

Our goal is to build a program, from the elementary levels all the way up to the varsity level, through our elementary and middle school feeder programs, youth camps and Triple B youth program. We want intelligent, hard-working kids that play unselfish, team basketball that our Bear Nation community can be proud of. Our teams have worked hard all spring and summer, both on the court and in the weight room, playing against top competition from all over the West Coast. This invaluable experience will help us reach our ultimate objectives: to bring home league and section titles.

On behalf of the coaching staff, we would like to thank all of our players, fans, alumni and the Bear Nation community who have committed to making Buchanan basketball successful for years to come.  Most importantly, we would like to thank the parents of all of our players, who have sacrificed their time, money, and effort to make sure their kids have every opportunity available to be successful.
