Latin Dance

The Buchanan High Latin Dance team is a group of diverse students from every type of background possible.

Lizette Bardales, the team advisor, originally wanted to introduce BHS students to Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, Tango, Cumbia, and Punta. Since its formation, the team has performed at Buchanan’s diversity talent show, “Harmony”, and at the annual “Principal’s Lip Sync” competition.

The Latin Dance team has become very close throughout the years with the help of the ultimate uniting factor: dance.
