  • Buchanan’s Pigskin for Pink game is October 5 but t-shirts are on sale now!! All proceeds from the shirts will be donated to the Art of Life Cancer Foundation. You must pre-order a t-shirt and they are $10 in the Activities Office. Pre-orders must be received by Friday at lunch.


  • Attention all Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: you may apply for CSF Spring 2017 credit beginning NEXT WEEK. Freshmen, you will be able to apply AFTER 1st semester. See Mrs. Constable in 151 with questions.


  • The drop-off date for expiring applications for Free and Reduced lunches is October 2. Students who have not filled out a new application for this school year, will no longer receive a Free or reduced lunch.


  • Students, please make sure you have a parking pass if you are parking a vehicle on campus. You will be ticketed without a CURRENT parking permit. You can purchase a Parking Pass in the finance office inside the main office for $10. Please remember that students are only allowed to park in student lots.


  • National Honor Society applications are now available on Ms. Pope’s website. 10th-12th graders are welcomed to apply, but all applicants must attend an application workshop. If  you missed the meeting this morning, you can still attend TODAY, Wednesday, in Room 157 at lunch. Please see Ms. Pope or Mrs. Lutjens if you have questions.


  • MWF – The deadline to purchase an Activities Pass is quickly approaching. They are $65 and available in the activities office. Passes give you free entrance to ALL HOME athletic games (not including Playoff games) and discounts on all school dances.


  • MWF - Attention seniors, the 19th Annual Hispanic Heritage Foundation is accepting applications and will be awarding Class of 2018 graduates with educational grants to pursue their higher education or to fund a community-based project. Recipients will be selected for their accomplishments in the classroom, community, and excellence in various educational categories. To apply and find more information about the program, please visit www.hispanicheritage.org. The DEADLINE to apply is Monday, October 2nd.


  • Attention students interested in Forensics & Debate. There is an informational meeting this Thursday, September 21 at lunch in Room 105. Please see Mrs. Wolfe in room 105 if you have any questions.


  • Attention all girls interested in playing girls soccer this year … pre-season training will begin on October 4 from 3-4:30pm on the varsity soccer field. Come out and train if you’re interested.



  • Attention students interested in joining the Armenian Club … the first Armenian Club meeting is Wednesday, September 20 at lunch in room 501. See you there.


  • Let’s get it started….. The AASU meets every Wednesday during lunch in room 302… Come see what is in store for the new year.


  • The Physics and Engineering club is meeting on Thursday 9/21 at lunch in Mr. Samarin's room, at the Energy Academy Room 903.


  • Class of 2019: If you are interested in being a part of the Homecoming Skit next month, we’re holding our first meeting for Juniors on Thursday at lunch in Room 157. Come on out and show your class spirit!


  • Do you like trivia, science and competition? Then Science Bowl might be the team for you. Science Bowl is a competitive academic team which mixes science and math knowledge, in a Jeopardy like competition format. If you are interested, there will be an informational meeting Thursday, September 28th in room 502 at lunch.


  • The Medical Careers club is meeting this Thursday at lunch in Herrington's room - room 358.


  • The first E-sports club meeting is this Friday in room 905 at lunch. Even if you did not sign up at club day, come see what we are all about.


  • The Interact club is having their very first meeting this Friday, 9/22 at lunch, in room 802! Come meet new members and enjoy a nice lunch!


  • Attention SENIORS! If you are interested in being in this year’s Homecoming skit, please attend the meeting this Thursday at lunch in room 163.
