The week of May 14, 2012

• Attn Credit Recovery Students: Time is running out to complete credits for this this semester! Come by room 151 and check with Munkers. Seniors, make sure you are on track to finish in time for graduation! Also if you are finished using your textbook for credit recovery, please return it to the library so others may use them.

• Attention Class of 2013 and 2014! Did you know that BHS offers a class for future teachers? Enrollment in ROP Education Careers fulfills the college prep English requirement, waives P.E. for the fall and spring semester, and offers CSU or SCCCD college credit. You also get REAL experience in education, working in a K-6 classroom with a qualified mentor teacher. If you are interested in registering for this class, meet with your counselor ASAP. If you have questions, come by room 161 for more information.

• Seniors who have not turned in their senior contract need to see Mrs. Ansielduring break or lunch. This contract is mandatory to participate in graduation ceremonies and senior activities.

• A FEW WORDS FROM THE REGISTRAR REGARDING GRADUATING SENIORS: Beginning May 1, 2012 a final transcript request form can be completed in the Registrar’s office. Final transcripts will be required by all colleges. All students should request at least one transcript for scholarship or employment purposes as well. Transcripts will be available after June 20, 2012. Up to four (4) transcripts may be requested at no charge through June 22, 2012. Thereafter, there will be a $2.00 per transcript charge assessed (cash or money order only).

• Do you need volunteer hours and do not know where to go? Hands on of Central California is looking for volunteers for May 19th and 20th. Come to the Career Center for more information.

• CSF Awards Ceremony tickets are on sale in the 100 office with Mrs. Denning from May 7th through May 15th. If you are attending the ceremony, see her soon to purchase your tickets. Please see Mrs. Constable with any questions.

• Students with PERFECT ATTENDANCE: If you’ve had perfect attendance this year, please see Mrs. Vuicich in the Attendance Office to pick up your application to receive a “Perfect Attendance Award”. Seniors: You must have your applications in no later than May 24.Grades 9-11: You must have your application in by May 31. Also, Seniors: If you’ve had “Perfect Attendance” since Kindergarten, please stop by Attendance ASAP

• JUNIORS!!! We are looking for a design for next year’s Senior Shirt. If you would like to see the senior class wearing your shirt, send your design to Mrs. Tessler in 104 or Mrs. TeNyenhuis in room 114 by Friday May 25th!

• Girls VB 2012- If you are interested in going out for Girls VB and you missed the meeting last Thur. at lunch drop by rm 813 and see Coach Battles for a info sheet. Spring ball and Varsity tryouts begin on May 22.
